Process

Every assignment is different, and we tailor our work phases and deliverables to the unique needs of each project. when clients engage Rakshashe across the full range of our services, however, we have a proven process that serves as a framework within which we identify and address clients' challenges. The process includes six steps:

Discovery

This is how we get the lay of the land. We immerse ourselves in the particulars of an organization and its customers, gathering as much unbiased information as possible. Our activities during the Discovery phase might include meeting with staff from throughout the organization, interviewing customers, experiencing products and/or services as a user, conducting observational research, auditing the competition, and generally learning everything there is to know about the client's business.

Next the Discovery team evaluates its findings and draws conclusions. We decide whether or not the brand is clearly defined, how well it is reflected in the customer experience, what works, what doesn't work, and who the audiences are, among other things.

Strategy

Once we have a solid idea of how things stand, we then consider what needs to be done to move the client from where it is to where it wants to be. Working with clients, we make decisions about the desired brand position or customer experience and create an actionable list of activities with associated budgets that should be undertaken to make the goals a reality.

Depending on the project, these recommended activities might include everything from the developing new identities and marketing materials to creating and implementing environmental graphic standards, or even establishing customer-interaction training programs for organization staff.

Armed with an approved strategy and our actionable list of tactics, the creative team begins to execute solutions. Activities during this phase can include account planning, naming, identity development; and the design and messaging of environments, traditional and non-traditional advertising, marketing collateral, interactive elements, direct mail, publications, and special events.

Implementation

Once design is completed, the next step is to make it real. Rakshashe can handle media buying and placement, oversee print production, program web sites and custom software tools, and supervise the fabrication and installation of way finding elements or environmental enhancements.

Validation

How do we know if our solutions are working? Rakshashe uses a range of tools to measure, test, and report on the effectiveness of our efforts. We work hand in hand with clients to measure response rates to promotions, monitor web site and call center traffic, and plot changes in levels of customer satisfaction. Utilizing the Intelligence generated, we make adjustments to the solutions as warranted. Validation conducted periodically can also be helpful when budgeting for future projects.

Stewardship

Stewardship is an activity Rakshashe undertakes for clients who engage us as partners in building their brands or managing their environments over time, rather than on a project-by-project basis. As stewards, we engage our clients' internal audiences and assist them with understanding the experiences being created for their customers Stewardship closes the "experience loop" and helps turn stakeholders into loyalists for the brand.
